10 UT employees and 45 representatives of the regional authorities and business completed their training. The Government of the region and the UT rector were keeping a close watch of the educational process that lasted for a half of the year.

Valerii Falkov: "Our region, as well as the whole world is in a time of drastic and sweeping changes. People are the core value and the main resource, that is why the development of human capital assets is our main goal. Effective interaction of regional authority representatives with the academic community for the benefit of the region has been one of the significant program results. Mutual cooperation resulted in new projects that will be able to foster the development of regional universities."

The program, arranged and implemented by SKOLKOVO, in cooperation with UT aimed at revealing the main problems of the region and, offering a means to solve them. Laborious efforts were required for the development of 7 projects. According to Andrei Sharonov, rector of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, many proposals could serve models throughout Russia.

It is worth noting, that the award ceremony "Skolkovo Trend Awards" was held for the first time. The award went to the best projects aimed at achievements in the field of effectiveness, competitiveness and the steady development of companies.

Dmitrii Medvedev: "Today's award ceremony indicates that SKOLKOVO succeeded as not just a school, but as an educational project. Now, the quality mark of SKOLKOVO is becoming the evaluation of business practices."
