HSK Chinese proficiency test

23 March 2019
On the 23rd of March, 2019, the University of Tyumen will hold its first HSK and HSKK Chinese proficiency tests. The HSK test (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) is the only test of Standard Chinese language proficiency for non-native speakers.

The HSK and HSSK tests are administered by the Hanban, an agency of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. An HSK certificate is internationally recognized and has a permanent validity.

According to Vladimir Nezhdanov, holding an HSK certificate gives following advantages:
  • opportunity to apply for a scholarship to study in China;
  • opportunity to apply for a Chinese university (applicants are required to reach the new HSK level 4-6);
  • employment preferences when applying for jobs requiring Chinese language skills.

Online registration for the test will be open until February 21, 2019
