Graduates of the international program get double diplomas

Admissions 16 November 2018
Double diplomas were awarded to the graduates of the UTMN and University of Lorraine’s joint educational program. Over the period of its implementation, 54 students successfully defended their theses and obtained the French Republic state diplomas and master's degrees, including 38 graduates in economics and 16 graduates in law.

During the ceremony, Pierre Tifin, Professor at the University of Lorraine, congratulated students and schoolchildren who had passed exams in French and handed them international certificates.

In 2014-2015 academic year, in order to promote the double degree programs, an additional advanced training program in English “Economic and legal systems in France and Europe” was opened for master's students and professors.

The cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Law, Economics and Management of the University of Lorraine has been in force since 2006. In December 2011, an additional agreement on the implementation of a joint double degree master’s program in economics was signed. In 2013, a double degree master’s program in jurisprudence “Public law and international cooperation” was launched.

It should be noted that the project is carried out in collaboration with the UTMN Regional Centre of Franco-Russian Cooperation.
