UTMN joins educational fair in Serbia
The exhibition was held in Belgrade as part of the implementation of the State Program "Development of Education" with the aim of popularizing Russian education and attracting foreign students and compatriots to study in Russian. The initiator of the educational exhibition was Rossotrudnichestvo.
Ekaterina Sechenova, Acting Vice-rector for International Relations, and Alena Vazhenina, Manager of the Department of International Student & Scholar Services, presented educational programs and research potential of the University of Tyumen at the fair.
Applicants from Serbia got acquainted with the University, attended a video tour around the campus, and took part in an interactive quiz about Tyumen. Visitors of the fair received a step-by-step guide on how to apply for a state scholarship to study in Russia.
“We are looking forward to welcoming applicants from Serbia at the University of Tyumen, but for now we meet online, answer their questions and talk about the prospects of studying at our university”, comments Ekaterina Sechenova.
As part of the exhibition, negotiations were held with Evgeny Demin, acting Head of the RCSC in Belgrade, on the issue of Rossotrudnichestvo scholarships for Serbian applicants, as well as negotiations with representatives of the University of Belgrade and Kragujevac University on the development of cooperation within the framework of previously signed agreements.
