Dresden-Tyumen: a New Milestone in Cooperation

Assistant at the UTMN Department of Children Psychology and Pedagogy, Anastasia Litvina, took part in the “Inklusive im Dialog: Fachdidaktik – Erziehungswissenschaft – Sonderpadagogik” International conference (Dresden, Germany), devoted to inclusive education issues. 

The event was organized by Dresden University of Technology’s Faculty of Education. 

At the conference, Anastasia Litvina gave a talk analyzing the results of research into Tyumen regional universities’ teaching staff’s commitment to building an inclusive educational environment, conducted by the Director of UTMN’s Institute of Psychology and Pedagogical Sciences, Lyudmila Volosnikova, and Galina Efimova, associate professor at the Department of General and Economic Sociology (UTMN Institute of Finance and Economics). 

As part of the conference, with the assistance of Professor from TU Dresden, Dr. Julia Koinova-Zöllner, UTMN representatives met the Deputy Director of the Institute of Education, Marcus Schütte, to discuss the prospects of cooperation. 

UTMN and TU Dresden have a long history of fruitful cooperation in the spheres of pedagogy and inclusive education. This September, Dr. Koinova-Zöllner gave a series of lectures and workshops for UTMN students on the didactics of cooperative education and the pedagogical technology of active education. She also discussed issues of organizing student research work with professors from the Institute of Psychology and Pedagogical Sciences and conducted an open lecture on the place of religious studies in the German educational system. 

Continuing cooperation between the two countries, UTMN associate professor from the Department of Children Psychology and Pedagogy, Zhanna Bruk, and masters student Tatiana Novopashina will soon take part in an international seminar on course design in Dresden.
