The University of Tyumen and the First Russian International School named after Valentina Tereshkova signed a cooperation agreement.
The University of Tyumen and the First Russian International School named after Valentina Tereshkova (Belgrade, Serbia) signed a cooperation agreement on 14 November.
The signing followed the agreements with the school’s principal Elena Elnatanova that took place in March. It is expected that students, specializing in Pedagogical Education, will be able to spend a semester abroad, attend teacher-training workshops and cultural events.
“Lyubov Konishcheva, Maria Kulikova, Maria Kotegova, Danа Gapochkina, students of the Institute of Social and Sciences and Humanities, are currently undergoing training in Belgrade. They learn about different methods of teaching Russian as a native and as a foreign language, the peculiarities of a bilingual school and the Serbian education system in general. Today's students of the Russian school are potential enrollees of the University of Tyumen,” says Aleksandr Shuklin, UTMN coordinator in the Balkans.
UTMN is increasing its presence in the Balkans. It has strong, long-standing ties with the University of Belgrade and the University of Pristina in Kosovska Mitrovica. This year, UTMN also concluded a cooperation agreement with the Kragujevac University.
