Field and Laboratory Partner Research
International 27 June 2019
The University of Tyumen and the Institute of Vertebrate Biology, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, signed a new agreement of cooperation in Tyumen.
The agreement unites both parties’ efforts to conduct world-class research to find answers to the challenges posed by threats to the biological safety of humans and animals due to the spread of infectious diseases, where bats can act as natural reservoirs and parasitic arthropods associated with bats as carriers.
Within the framework of the current agreement, two institutions will create a joint research team including young researchers, scientists and graduate students.
Notice that the biological safety of humans, animals and plants is one of the main research issues of the West Siberian Center of Science and Education being formed in the region.
