UTMN to build three new research-and-development laboratories

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has chosen the winners of the competitive tender for the creation of new research laboratories in Universities. As a result of the competition, three projects of UTMN were approved.

In 2020, the following laboratories will be added to the UTMN X-BIO Institute:

 - antimicrobial resistance lab with the assistance of the Biological Sciences Candidate Alexey Vasilchenko;

- ecological physiology of plants and experimental phytoecology lab under the leadership of the Biological Sciences Candidate Larisa Ivanova;

- sedimentology and the evolution of the paleobiosphere lab under the direction of Pavel Smirnov, Candidate of Geological And Mineralogical Sciences.

The concepts for the new laboratories and scientific projects were approved by the experts of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
