Employment rate in Tyumen region is higher than average in Russia

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation evaluated the quality and availability of the public employment services for the first half of 2016. According to the results, the Tyumen region has the largest percentage of employed graduates among those who applied for assistance in finding an appropriate job during the period. 

Besides, the employment rate in Tyumen is significantly higher than the Russian average: 84,4% versus average 44,2%. In addition, the labor market tension rate in the region is lower.

Moreover, Tyumen region has been highly ranked among the Russia Federation subjects with the highest rate of unemployed citizens who have started their own business. 

UT actively assists graduates with their employment. The university regularly hosts job fairs, company presentations, career days. UT specialists cooperate closely with the employment agencies, provide students assistance regarding self-presentation, professional orientation and the job market. Students also count on a regional public organization of UT graduates.
