Tyumen is in the top 10 most attractive cities for migrants

Department of Sociology and Political Science of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation has published its ranking of the most attractive cities for migrants. The largest part of migrants is from Ukraine (index 5,0), Belarus (index 4,3) and Kazakhstan (index 2,1). 

Tyumen is among some large Russian cities attractive for Ukrainians, Belarusians and citizens of Kazakhstan as a good place to work and live in.
According to the results of the research, there is a significant number of qualified migrant workers in Russia. In the med term, labor migration from the neighboring countries is expected to be stable.  

This month the UT faculty visited Moscow, where they presented innovative strategies for teaching migrant children.
