Partner Bookstore to Open at UTMN

Nikto Ne Spit, the first independent bookstore in Tyumen, will open its doors on the UTMN campus, in the Information and Library Centre. The shop was founded by alumni of the UTMN Department of Publishing. 

Nikto Ne Spit (Rus. nobody sleeps), named after a book by the Swedish writer Katarina Kieri, offers a wide range of prose and poetry, books on architecture and art, cinematography, history, literature studies, personal development, business as well as literature for children and teenagers. Some of the books available to buy come from publishing houses never seen on the Tyumen market before. The bookstore is envisaged to become a venue for workshops, lectures and educational projects. 

At the grand opening, the famous Tyumen artist, poet and musician Oleg Fedorov will read his poems and play blues on guitar and harmonica. 
The event takes place on 21 October, at 4pm, at UTMN Library Centre, 18 Semakova St.

Nobody sleeps, everyone is reading!
