Course content

Within new educational model "2+3" students have 2 years of general courses in English combined with the Russian language preparatory course. The first introduction of the program chosen will be through the choice of electives. Last semester of the 2nd year will contain a number of professional modules. Third year is the time to choose you major - "History and English Language" - with the number of profile modules in Russian language.

Learning outcomes

The graduate is trained in three areas: pedagogical education, history and professional knowledge of the English language. After the training, you can work as a history and foreign language teacher, translator, guide or work in the archive, museum or in institutions of youth policy and patriotic education.

Employment possibilities

Graduates can be in demand in educational institutions, archives, museums, translation centers, libraries, travel agencies, institutions of youth policy and patriotic education, schools, cultural and sports complexes, travel agencies, media and national culture centers.

¹ Duration of the program is 5 years as the program consists of two modules: History and Elgish Language. The graduates can work either as the teachers of History, of the teachers of English.
² The cost is a subject to change due to the inflation indexation based on the Federal Law «On the federal budget for the following financial year and the planned period». The final amount of the tuition fee will be set by Order of the Rector in May 2023.
