Cooperation between UTMN and Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) will continue
An annual meeting was held at the Federal State Autonomous Institution "Sociocentre" (Moscow), to discuss international activities with the executors of state assignments and with participation of representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. The aim of the event is to examine the results of the work and formulate solution to strengthen international presence of Russian universities in the context of the changing geopolitical conditions.
During the event the head of the group for digital development, director of the center for digital technologies of UTMN Alexander Boyiko presented a report on implementation of the strategy for digitalization of Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first president of the Russian Federation Boris Yeltsin.
In the report he showcased the results that were achieved in the 2024:
The infrastructural base for deployment of the digital services was modernized;
An integrated cloud environment for corporate communication was deployed (mail, messenger, video conferencing, cloud storage);
Arrangement were made to audit the key stakeholders and to define end-to-end business processes with the aim of further optimization;
Systems for digital document management, HR records and payroll calculation have been implemented;
In order to improve the digital competence of the users a series of training webinars was held for various categories of users and a unified knowledge base was created. The quality of the developed solutions and the speed of their implementation earned high praise from the experts and the management of the partner university.
“During the short period of time our team was able to create an infrastructure base for the deployment of digital services, unify the access to information systems, create an environment for unified communications, increase the digital security of the systems, and optimize the process document management and HR records in Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. All developed solutions are implemented and are actively used by the students and staff. The effects of this implementation are already noticeable”, - Alexander Vasilevich commented.
Cooperation between UTMN and Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University in the area of digitalization will continue in 2025. As part of the project, a number of events are being prepared to ensure further implementation of systems for maintenance and optimization of the basic processes, including the implementation of the system for regulated accounting and tax accounting systems, and support for the educational process. In addition, plans include the development of an updated official website of Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, as well as the deployment of an incident management system and technical support for users.
