Understanding of what you have been taught comes only after applying the experience gained in practice. I should emphasize that all the experience I gained from teachers, including experts and specialists in their field, helped me to work on projects of varying complexity. In the first years after graduation, we successfully participated and won architectural competitions with landscape and architectural solutions for a variety of territories. In consequence, we carried out not only projects of small gardens for private individuals, but also developed design projects for territories that are being landscaped in accordance with the federal development program. “Landscape Architecture” program at the University of Tyumen is unique and here are the reasons why. The program differs from the Western school of landscape architecture, because it is based on working with plants, not design. Besides, it relies on the national experience of park construction, the formation of the volume-spatial structure; it allows you to consolidate the knowledge gained in practice, encourages participation in architectural competitions and even allows you to work in a team with teachers-practitioners on real projects where you feel responsible for making decisions.
