The biggest part of the educational program courses that I studied combined theoretical and practical parts, often equally, but in some minor cases the theoretical part prevailed because some members of the teaching staff sticked to the old school mindset.

Among the advantages of the program I outlined the following:

- teachers, most of them have real work experience and manage to combine lecturing with working in production, which proves the transmitted knowledge to be relevant in contemporary conditions;

- functional study rooms, coworking spaces;

- tight-knit groups is an advantage for learning team work.

Professional software (MapInfo, Google Earth, SAS Planet) I consider to be the most useful skillsets I received during my time at the university.
