UTMN student takes part in the WorldSkills UK
Diana Kasabova showed excellent results in the category “Cloud Computing”.
On 15-17 November, the WorldSkills UK was held at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. Diana Kasabova, UTMN student, showed excellent results in the category “Cloud Computing”.

The Worldskills Cloud Computing Competition is traditionally sponsored by Amazon Web Services. The students competed for the right to participate in the 45th WorldSkills Competition that will be held at the KAZAN EXPO International Exhibition Centre in Kazan, Russia in August 2019.

UTMN specialists attended the championship as guests. According to the results of the competition, Diana Kasabova, trainee at the UTMN Laboratory of Network and System Administration, got the highest score. In addition, AWS engineers rated her work as a standard for completing a competitive task.

“We are certainly pleased with such an assessment given by highly competent specialists in this field. It also goes without saying that our previous experience of participation in the championships, that took place in Ireland and New Zealand, positively influenced our performance,” comments Alexander Gorbachev, Head of the UTMN laboratory.
This victory confirms once again the uniqueness of the UTMN school in the field of information technologies and the high authority of its specialists and students in the international arena.
