International illustrators to present their works at the Comic Arts Tyumen 2019
On 31-31 March 2019, SAS UTMN will host a Comic Arts Tyumen, an international indie comics festival that takes place in Tyumen.
On 31-31 March 2019, UTMN School of Advanced Studies will host a Comic Arts Tyumen, an international indie comics festival that takes place in Tyumen.
This year’s edition of CAT united more than 50 publishers and artists from New York, Berlin, Riga, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Tyumen, Voronezh, Khabarovsk and other cities.
Two-day program includes not only an exhibition, but also public talks and workshops hosted by publishers, artists, researchers and SAS professors. All events are free so everyone can join to learn how visual art reflects modern culture and science and how to make first steps in making contemporary comics.

CAT 2019 will be held at School of Advanced Studies in March 30–31 from 11.00 am to 7.00 pm.
The exhibition is generously supported by University of Tyumen, Boomkniga publishing company, US Embassy in Russia, Emabssy of Finland in Russia and Culture Capital Foundation of Latvia.
