UTMN Science and Education debut in Paris

As part of the Trianon Dialogue, the UTMN specialist group took part in the grand convention opening of Regional Siberian Higher Education Salon held in Paris. 

As part of the Trianon Dialogue, the UTMN specialist group took part in the grand convention opening of Regional Siberian Higher Education Salon held in Paris. The event was funded by the Embassy of France in Russia and the Embassy of Russia in France, French national agency Campus France, Russia federal agency Rossotrudnichestvo and the Russian Center for Science and Culture. The goal of the event was to establish and strengthen academic cooperation between Siberia Region and France.

UTMN Science and Education department was represented by the Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations Andrei Tolstikov and Director of the Regional Center for Franco-Russian Cooperation Faina Zolotavina. Representatives of universities from Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Ulan-Ude, Kyzyl, Yakutsk and several France regions also participated in the Convention.

University of Tyumen developed strong ties with France universities over the years. Currently there are ten active agreements with leading Universities of France, under which academic and scientific exchange programs are implemented, including Master's Degree programs in economics, law, linguistics, management and computer engineering. The Convention was proven to be a great success, and enabled Universities to collaborate on joint projects, discuss and outline new educational programs and strengthen international relations.
