UTMN holds a place in the top 15 of the Most Relevant Russian Universities among Classical Universities for the third year in a row.

One of the main indicators used for this rating is the graduate employability percentage. The University of Tyumen was able to reach 93.2% when the average for other classical universities is 53%.

UTMN was able to reach these results due to multifaceted work done by university staff and the students themselves. UTMN Career Center was the main coordinator and organizer for the events. Here at the Center we believe that “today students, soon to be specialists, should understand the Industry they will be working in”. One of the main tasks was tofacilitate the employment of students and graduates and ease their adaptation to the labor market.

Most Relevant Russian Universities' ranking results of 2019 included state and private organizations of higher education. It included 88 classical universities, 125 engineering universities, 49 agricultural, 65 humanitarian (pedagogical, philological and physical education), 59 from the management sphere, and 50 medical schools.

Experts deem the Most Relevant Russian Universities ranking “one of the most stable, reliable, understandable, and perceived systems of independent assessment of the quality of education that currently exists in Russia”.
