The mission of the program
To be the leader of the Tyumen region in the field of classical university education and scientific and educational activities in the chemical field.

The aim of the program
The program aims at training specialists possessing theoretical knowledge in fundamental branches of chemistry, possessing researching and production and technological skills associated with the usage of chemical phenomena and process.

Program summary

The curriculum encompasses 240 credit points.

During the first year the block of university subjects is learned (27 credit points), which includes majors and minors (12 credit points) as well as the block of professional subjects (21 credit points).

During the 2 – 4 years students learn general and professional subjects, including practices (educational, industrial, undergraduate and research work) and researching and development workshop. The education finishes up with the defence of thesis in front of the State Certification Commission.

The program peculiarities and competitive strength

The program is based on the original pedagogical competence, aimed at advanced development of chemical thinking via mastering a professional chemical language and methodology of chemical science.

The program is varied by deep chemical subjects learning, mathematical structural models (groups, vector spaces, topological graphs) and bases of quantum chemistry.
