Linguistics

The program provides deep development of competence in two foreign languages up to the level of Proficiency: the first foreign language is studied for all 4 years (English, French or German). Students begin to study their second foreign language from the 2nd year, and they can choose from 5 languages: Italian, French, German, English, and Spanish. Language leaning is supported by theoretical courses in the area of Linguistics, Applied Linguistics (science of translation and theories and practices of teaching foreign languages) and other Human Sciences. Suggested tracks, implemented through elective courses, aimed at development of professional competence for the purpose of teaching, translation activities. Within the program, the scientific and project areas have been strengthened to make it possible to realize the research potential at the junction of several scientific areas.
