The master’s program “Master of Laws” provides a qualitatively new educational product, analogues of which are absent in the Russian educational space.Having enrolled in a single master's program, the student has the opportunity to choose independently a specialization in the learning process.The master's program allows students to change educational paths without being limited to the framework of one area.The use of a competency-based approach will ensure a balanced training of a specialist in various types of legal activities (in-house lawyer, lawyer, notary, law enforcement officer, etc.) It means that students’ professional competencies are formed sequentially (from the general to the special) and focused on preparing for a certain type of legal activity chosen by them independently.The curriculum of the program includes a wide range of new areas of legal activity (digitalization, legal work with conflicts, etc.)The fundamentally new competencies that are formed in students should include: "The ability to make independent decisions and rational, informed choices and take personal responsibility for this." Teachers not only from leading Russian but also foreign research and educational centerswill take part in the implementation of the master's program.

The master’s program is led by Doctor ofLegal Sciences, Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation, head of the department of the Theory and History of State and Law, of International Law, professor Oleg Vinnichenko.
