The master’s program “Development of Technologies of Internet of Things and Big Data” is aimed at theoretical and practical preparing of highly skilled specialists in the field of research, development, administration and protection of problem-oriented systems for processing and analyzing big data and the Internet of things (IoT).
Training of masters in this field is an urgent task for the Tyumen region, where there is a high need for specialists who are competent in the development of technologies necessary for the implementation of the national program "Digital economy" in terms of the development of e-government technologies, digitalization of the oil and gas industry and healthcare, creation of a digital space for a Smart city, solving applied problems of telemedicine, etc.
The gathered experience (since 1998) of implementing an educational program in the specialty "Software and Information System Administration" has shown that specialists in this field are in demand by industry, business, scientific and educational institutions.
Master's training is carried out in close connection with scientific research and applied research conducted by the departments of software, safe information technologies of the Smart City, small innovative enterprises andTechnological Park of UTMN, Tyumen Petroleum Research Center (Rosneft),Center of information technologies of the Tyumen region and other organizations.
The master's program includes a course carried out with the support of a grant from the Vladimir Potanin Fellowship Program.
