The program is focused on revealing the specifics of mathematics as a science and a modern educational discipline, on acquisition of the methods of scientific research in the field of mathematics and mathematical education.

         The program provides training for specialists, who possess modern computer learning technologies and who are able to design and implement educational programs in mathematics, conduct elective courses, manage project and research activities of students, organize and conduct tournaments, competitions and Academic Olympics in mathematics.

         Since 2019, the field of employment of graduates has been expanding significantly. Now graduates can work not only as school teachers, but also as teachers in specialized secondary and higher educational institutions (lyceums, colleges, universities).

         Due to the transition from a four-year to a five-year duration of study, this year the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences does not graduate bachelor teachers of mathematics.Therefore, the competition for budget places will be much less intensive, and the possibility of receiving them will increase significantly.
