Representatives of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture of Beirut took an online tour around the University of Tyumen.
On November 6, within the framework of the online project "Opening the Leading Russian Universities", representatives of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture of Beirut took an online tour around the University of Tyumen.

UTMN invited applicants and academic community representatives of the Middle East region for a virtual tour around the campus. The meeting opened with a welcome address by the Vice-rector for International Affairs — Ekaterina Sechenova.

Applicants from Egypt, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria visited classrooms, scientific laboratories, dorms, and the sports complex. They had a chance to take a walk around the city and even take a ride on the Ferris wheel at the city center.

Special attention was brought to UTMN greenfields: School for Advanced Studies, Polytechnic School, and X-BIO Institute (Institute for Environmental and Agricultural Biology). The attendees got to learn about the support system present at UTMN: post-graduation employment, social services available for students, opportunities for personal growth outside of studies (in science, sports, arts), and most importantly, perspectives for international students living in Siberia.

The meeting was hosted by the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Lebanon — Vadim Zaichikov. In turn, the director of the Arab Center, Ahmed Ibrahim, represented UTMN.
