UTMN postgraduate students take part in the conference “Thermophysics and physical hydrodynamics”

Young scientists presented the results of their research on methods of managing the processes of organizing particles in colloidal films.
UTMN postgraduate students Tair Esenbaev and Al-Muzaiqer Mohammed Ali Yahya Ali took part in the III All-Russian conference “Thermophysics and physical hydrodynamics”, hosted in Yalta, Republic of Crimea. They presented the results of their research on methods of managing the processes of organizing particles in colloidal films.

Al-Muzaiqer Mohammed Ali Yahya Ali was awarded the diploma of the 1st degree, his report was recognized as the best in the section “Hydrodynamics and heat and mass transfer in multiphase flows”.

In his report, Mohammed noted that developing methods of managing the processes of organizing particles in colloidal films is one of the hot topics in modern-day fundamental and applied science. Currently, he is working on a method of managing micron-sized particles aggregation (self-organising) process based on the Marangoni effect.

Mohammed, citizen of the Republic of Yemen, works at the UTMN X-BIO's Research Laboratory of Photonics and Microfluidics under the leadership of Natalia Ivanova, a federal researcher.
