Bulgarian specialists in education are interested in UTMN

The increased interest is linked to the evident achievements of Russian universities.
In November, the 10th International Tournament in Informatics was held in Shumen, Bulgaria. Within its framework, leading figures in the spheres of science and education, Bulgarian high-tech companies and representatives of European universities participated in a round table, where they discussed areas of cooperation with Russian universities.

UTMN has already worked with Bulgarian universities and scientific organizations. For instance, there is a cooperation agreement with the Bulgarian Academy of Science. Yordan Lyutskanov and Alexander Panov, representatives of the Institute for Literature, took part in the international conference “Managing exile, suffering displacement, being an émigré: responsibility and mutual sympathy in the mirror of ego-documents and fiction” that took place in Tyumen in September. Bulgarian graduate and postgraduate students study at the UTMN Institute of Earth Sciences and Institute of Distance Education.

Experts in the fields of education and science have recently noted Bulgaria’s growing interest in cooperation with Russia. It is linked to the evident achievements of Russian universities that take part in the Russian Academic Excellence Project 5-100 and such national projects as "Science", "Education", and "Digital Economy".  The University of Tyumen is also becoming a subject of increased attention due to its rapid transformation.
