Round University Ranking published its ranking of the world’s leading universities for 2017.
Round University Ranking has published its subject ranking of the world’s leading universities for 2017. The University of Tyumen entered two subject rankings out of six – Life Sciences and Social Sciences

In the sphere of Life Sciences, UTMN was ranked among the top 400 best universities around the globe. Currently, the university is 327th among world’s universities and 7th in Russia. In the Social Sciences subject ranking, UTMN was placed 462 and entered the top 15 Russian universities.

“Entering international rankings is important for us, as I find it a direct result of participating in the 5-100 Project,” commented UTMN Rector Valery Falkov. “Two months ago, the university entered the QS University Rankings: Emerging Europe and Central Asia (QS EECA) 2017/18 ranking, the 201-250 group. It is a very good result for a regional university”.

Round University Ranking (RUR) is a world university ranking, which measures the performance of 930 leading world universities from 80 countries according to 20 indicators across 4 key missions: teaching, research, international diversity and financial sustainability.

The data used for the ranking was provided by Clarivate Analytics international company, formerly the Intellectual Property and Science business of Thomson Reuters company.
