Gennady Kutsev Joins the Editorial Board of the Oldest Russian Journal on Higher Education

UTMN Research Advisor Gennady Shafranov-Kutsev has joined the editorial board of the Alma Mater (High School Herald) journal. 

The editorial council includes scholars from France, the USA, Egypt, India, China, Lebanon, Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus. The editorial board consists of representatives of the most prestigious Russian educational and research institutions. 

A member of the Russian Academy of Education, Dr Gennady Shafranov-Kutsev is the only representative of Tyumen region on the staff of the oldest Russian journal on higher education. 

The journal was first published in 1940 and since then has been published on a monthly basis. Alma Mater is indexed by Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, the European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS), the UDB-EDU international database, and the Russian Science Citation Index. 

Earlier, articles by the UTMN scholar have been published at the Alma Mater journal. The journal aims to keep its readers in touch with relevant events and processes in the Russian and global higher educational systems, as well as to introduce the opinions of renowned writers interested in the development of a modern high school.
