About
The Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences was founded on the 6th of December, 2005 within the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science. Today, the Institute is an independent entity affiliated with University of Tyumen. The Institute is developing in accordance with modern trends with scientific schools constantly evolving, and testing sites emerging. The institute’s focus area includes various aspects of computer science, including software engineering, graphics, multimedia technologies, information systems and networks, databases, and other subjects within the mathematics sphere.

Graduates of the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences of the UTMN are well prepared in the sphere of practical software engineering. They enjoy both extensive knowledge and practical scientific research skills and can meet challenges with ease; they capably combine fundamental mathematic knowledge, originality, and restraint of thinking.
Within the modern employment market, our students successfully compete with graduates of other higher educational institutions of the same or different qualifications. They are capable of quickly mastering new fields and building a successful career.
